Gillian is naturally gifted and heralded for her extensive knowledge in hair care.  Her resume spans twenty years of bringing out the beauty of every client that enters her salon.  She is the owner of PERfection Hair Styling Team in the heart of East Flatbush but her clients come from both near and far.

Gillian’s reputation is evident by the loyalty of her clientele.  Many arrive as early as four AM to get their hair done and be part of the experience.  PERfection not only provides a professional and positive atmosphere for its clientele but an experience focused on a full transformation of the inner being.  Gillian recognizes that is where true beauty begins….

The PERfection team focuses on promoting healthy care of the scalp and hair. The salon caters to women, men and children.  Gillian Garcia is multi-talented; she specializes in short cuts, unique cuts, weaves, locks, twists, perm, press and many other hairstyles. Her team of professionals are extremely qualified and equally dedicated.

Gillian’s work has been featured in Black Hair Care magazine and countless of hairstyle magazines, including but not limited to, Black Passion, Cut & Color and Black Sophisticate.  Gillian was also previously awarded Stylist of the Year.  Her work is respected in the community so much that she created the looks exhibited in the catalogues and on the websites for Mona’s Hair Center and ERENA (two well-known hair distributors). Many celebrities have sought out Gillian for private bookings, weddings and photo shoots.

Gillian recognizes that her skills are a blessing from God so she continually strives to stay abreast of new techniques and happenings within the industry.  Gillian believes in the elevation of one’s self through hard work and dedication to having a personal relationship with God. 

Gillian Garcia recognized that she could be of greater service to others and wanted to share many of the blessings she received.  She believed in her spirit that there was a great need for direction in shaping the minds and self-image of young ladies.  After careful thought and research, she formed The Best Me Program.  Gillian is instrumental in touching the lives of countless young ladies and addressing the misconceptions of beauty standards that society has imposed on them. 

At work, Gillian’s goal is to provide each client with outstanding customer service by making each person feel and look their very best.  Hair care is just a part of the experience at PERfection Hair Styling Team.  The client enters as a customer and many leave as friends. 

The salon atmosphere cultivates and builds long, meaningful personal friendships and business relationships.  Gillian counts each client and prospective client that enters her doors as a blessing.  She is approachable and accessible to her clients; she recognizes that each interaction is another way to be a blessing to someone simply through a word of encouragement or inspiration.
